Booking Conditions

  1. Making a Booking
    You may make your booking by telephone, e-mail or fill in the booking form, at this time a £150 deposit is required (or full payment if with in 6 weeks of arrival)
  2. Payment
    We welcome payment by credit and debit cards though Pay Pal's secure online payment system, alternatively you can pay by cheque or transfer payable to Ashley-Jones Vacations at our contact address below.
  3. Tee times
    Due to the volume of golfers during high season it may not always be possible to obtain the tee time required. We will discuss alternative options with you.
  4. Golf Information
    Handicaps: most golf courses require a handicap of 28/36 so it is important that you bring your certificate with you.
    Soft Spikes: most courses will not allow you to play without soft spikes; we recommend all golfers visiting the Costa del Sol to use soft spike shoes (courses do not allow trainers).
  5. Spanish Federation Fee
    The Spanish Golf Federation levy a charge on all golfers visiting Spain, approximately 3 euros, some courses include this in their green fee, where it is not included the caddy master will charge you locally.
  6. Course Closure:
    In the event of heavy rain a course will decide whether to close. If a course is open they will expect you to play, therefore if you choose not to, they will not refund your green fee. If a course closes due to the bad weather, your tee time will be moved or you will receive a full or partial refund.
  7. Dress Code
    Is the same as most countries.
  8. Golf Clubs
    Most courses offer club hire for approx 25/30 euros per set, per day .
  9. Car Hire
    Car hire includes unlimited mileage, local taxes, fully comprehensive insurance (including CDW 7 PIA) Drivers must be 21 or over (and have held a licence for at least 12 months). Your car is insured for the exact dates and times on your contract.
  10. Travel Documents
    All documents relating to your booking including Accommodation, Car Hire and Golf tee times, will be sent to your home address, or sent by e-mail, before departure, after receipt of final payment.
  11. Insurance
    Mijas Golf Holidays recommends that all clients travel with adequate cover for their golfing holiday.
