Cabopino is a lovely, sandy beach with pretty sand dunes and has a good selection of restaurants around the marina as well as a number of beach bars. The Hipodromo racecourse, located close to Fuengirola and La Cala de Mijas, just off the N340 offers good quality horse racing. |

For a day out you can visit Gibraltar (for all your duty free goods) which is 50 minutes away from Marbella. Located at the entrance of the Mediterranean its strategic location and history have made Gibraltar a very interesting place. Shopping
For shopping there are large malls and numerous shops in Marbella, Puerto Banus and Fuengirola, with most of the main European designer and brand stores. There are good local markets in Fuengirola and La Cala de Mijas where you can buy local produce.
